Welcome to the website of The Canal Society of
New Jersey. We trust you'll find it both interesting and informative. The CSNJ is a non-profit organization formed in 1969 to
foster the study of the history of New Jersey's two towpath canals,
preserve and restore canal remains and artifacts, educate the public in
the canals' histories and provide enjoyment to its members by visiting
canals and other historic sites.
Membership Meeting
Meetings are generally held on the 3rd
Friday in the months January, March, May, September and November. The
location is "The Morris County Cultural Center", 300 Mendham Road,
Morris Township.

CSNJ acknowledges and thanks the "New Jersey
Historical Commission" for their support.
